Hi Erbiewan, thanks for reading and for this story! I based the snail situation in my story on reality, too, though not like what you described. My French in-laws make their own escargot for Christmas every year, and my mother-in-law once explained the process to me step-by-step and it was so horrible (even though the result is so delicious….). I have a lot of guilt and get easiy overwhelmed, so I imagined myself in a situation where I tried to gather snails and make escargot in spite of that. Your story makes me laugh because apparently I wasn’t wrong about the snails getting everywhere after all! Thanks again for reading!
